- Is h/c handled differently in gen and slash? (Or gen and het, or gen and any-pairing fic, or whatever.) Does it use the same tropes or different ones?
- Tumblr: threat or menace. *g* No, seriously, I think that a guide to Doing Fandom On Tumblr, for people who are used to the LJ/DW mode of interaction, would be very useful! Or does something like this already exist?
- Does meeting actors in person affect your ability to write about their characters? (This happened to me so badly with one actor that I can't even watch him in anything anymore; I can no longer separate the actor from the character. I'm not sure if I'm alone in this ...)
- Challenge, exchange & fic-prompt communities have exploded in the last few years. Most people in fandom seem to be signed up for at least one thing at any given time. How has this impacted your own fic writing? Do you write a lot more than you would without challenges to help you? Or do you feel overwhelmed and never seem to have time to write your own fic ideas anymore?

You're not alone! In fact, this makes me want to write about how working on a TV show or movie affects my ability to fan on it -- though that seems somewhat specific and maybe not so interesting to other people. ;) (It's really, really odd -- it's SO much harder for me to watch movies/TV I've worked on, I think because I can't suspend disbelief anymore.)
Edited to add: And I totally agree about Tumblr. Cannot for the life of me figure that platform out!
