the real question: how many fucks do I not give? all of them.
actual issue: fiance does not want to look cheap by giving 'basic' invitations on decent cardstock, especially for the thank you cards.
my opinion: if someone bases how sincere we are about our thanks for their decently priced/stupidly expensive gift on the quality of the paper, they are fucking morons.
