I seem to be having a spot of trouble with the unwedding details in June, but have resolutely decided to suck it up and fix my mistake before another week is out. One of these days the damn event is just going to be *over* and I will have a *job* and I can stop fretting. As it is, I find myself decidedly apathetic about the new round of dishes in the sink and wish that the boy wasn't working 14 hours days so he had time to pitch in more than once every two weeks. /le sigh
I spent an hour or so hip deep in my volunteer project and am tearing my hair out over how haphazard the nursing Power Point is--I cannot begin to fathom where half the content images came from and 9/10ths of the professor's uploaded content are copyrighted articles that can't be used. So I have 35 slides left to vet and I can't remember whether scientific charts and graphs are fair use or not. I guess it's time to email the coordinator for advice. Hopefully any future projects are more straightforward (and, please God, more copyright conscious-- fair use is bloody awesome in the classroom but a nightmare when it comes to OER).
Anyway, am counting down the days until my tax refunds and the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert next Monday.
