We're trying something new tonight. After Alex's next feeding, I'm going to try to slide into bed without waking Anna-Lena. Then, she'll get him when he wakes up the following time, letting me sleep for a few hours at night for the first time in two months.
This is to facilitate my being awake in the mornings when my father is here next weekend. Hopefully it'll work. Alex was apparently awake for most of evening while I was out watching football, and fell asleep just before I came home at 11.30. Of course, that means he'll sleep for five hours until 4.30 or so, which is counter productive to our plan, but we'll see.
Jason couldn't make it to O'Leary's tonight, but Tom, that
American I met a few weeks ago that seems to know everyone, was there, so I hung out with him. I don't know him all that well, but we managed to find three hours worth of conversation while we watched a dull game (Denver at Baltimore).
Finally, now that the baseball season is over, and the Eagles have finally stumbled back over .500, it's time to trade Philly sports icon. Phillie Phanatic out, Eagles in.
