"Beats the last one I had," Price said, referring to the 'trip' to the irradiated ruins of DC. "But any place with a warm bed suits me just fine. How are you enjoying it?"
"It's different, but at least I don't have to listen to the greatest hits of Celine Dion," said Mary with a chuckle. "It can be good to have a change of pace. I don't think I've ever seen Gunther so relaxed."
"The big guy in the other cabin with the thick German accent," said Mary. "He's the chef at the hotel, not to mention a constant annoyance. It's too bad that he makes the best apple strudel on this side of the Atlantic."
"You're in for a treat, then," said Mary, smiling. "Sometimes on special occasions, Gunther does a fancy afternoon tea with lots of small pastries, so you can try a little bit of everything. You know, that would be a nice way to celebrate once all the bugs are gone..."
"Coping mechanism?" he asked, ever the brilliant conversationalist.
