And it was right about then, when he got there, that he realized just how sad it was that his list of people he could go to was so small. There was really only one other person on that list and she was why he was there to begin with.

He almost felt bad about the 'yay, chocolate!' moment his brain had just had, but he rationalized it with the the thought that A: Savannah would kick his ass if she knew he was moping and B: How can you not be happy about anything involving chocolate? (Okay, that was two thoughts. Shut up.)

"She'll be okay. We've got so many people working on getting Savannah and everyone else home," said Mary. "I know how you feel, though. My friend Danny is in some dimension that's completely inaccessible from Fandom right now and I'd just like to know that he's okay. Let's get you some coffee and some chocolate," she added, heading for the kitchen to make sure that Gunther had the good stuff.

He laughed softly. "Guess you could say I'm making up for the almost sixteen years I didn't have her in my life to worry about. God, she'd smack me if she could right now." And he'd take it gladly.
