Tomorrow, I start work at Victoria's Secret.

No really, I am. They're doing a store remodel and they need grunt labor to help move things. Guess I should thank Selena for the hook up on this one. I hear that a good deal of the associates are going to be there (mrow!), and who knows, right? lol. I wish the store was in the South, though. At the stores in the South that i've been to, they've had two big advantages over the one in Silverdale:

1.) The whole store isn't pink. Its usually this ritzy looking black and white combination. Gah, im going to get such a headache tomorrow.
2.) The girls that work in the store are very beautiful. Not saying that the ones here don't have their charm, but its just a different thing down South.

Anyhow, im pretty excited about that. The pay isn't top shelf, but I get to go out and meet some people. Thats what im mainly interested in. I tend not to hang out with anyone anymore. Almost all of my Port Orchard friends have moved away, or want to do things that aren't all that healthy. Even my dad makes fun of me for how little I go out anymore. I don't think its totally my fault. I'm friendly enough towards people, they just aren't in my age range. Don't think 40 year old women want to hang out with me. Well then again im sure there are some that do, but thats something totally different...

I've been struggling a lot recently with my drive and self determination. Now that college is over, I find myself wondering what in the deuce im supposed to be doing. I've got so many plates spinning in the air right now, it isn't even funny. I'm in the midst of applying for Ole Miss University down in Oxford, hoping to get a bit of funding to go there. I've got State Department testing this Saturday. I'm going to get in contact with the Washington State Republican Party tomorrow and hopefully get on board with something in the organization. I'm trying to get into a couple law firms as a page. Theres a city clerk job down at City Hall i've been looking at. The list goes on and on.

Question is, what exactly do I do next? I guess it all boils down to what I want to do. So ill ask myself: Self, what is it you want to do? Brushing the thoughts of the stomach and the man parts aside, it's hard to say for sure. I'd love to spend the next 4-5 years overseas, and see the world. Then again, i'd also love to get my masters degree. Then again, i'd also love to work on another campaign and work my way up the political ladder. I can't say that 100% more sure of any of the options over any other. They all sound appealing. I just keep waiting for the door to open on one of these so that I can walk through it.  It's not easy.

My friends back in Louisiana keep calling me, messaging me, trying really hard to stay in contact. It's a nice feeling, to be wanted like that.

Oh, Jesse and Crystal are getting married in two weeks. I'm excited for them. It should be an interesting afternoon. I still haven't gotten them anything...

I wish that like, it was socially acceptable to sit down with a bunch of people and just bs about philosophy, life experiences, and just plain intellectual things. Well, I guess that I have been in places like that, but the people I was discussing things with were either high on smug (Starbucks) or THC (you can guess). Back in the days of the Greeks, people just sat around and discussed ideas all day. They threw around some logic, some observations, and greased it all off with some personal feelings. They would talk about religion, they would talk about science, politics, emotions, whatever was worth talking about. Could we even do that anymore? What would people say if they got together and tried to do that? Would they talk about the movie stars lives, alcohol, or something worth talking about? It feels like society is slipping a bit, and we aren't as willing to take the journey of self discovery. Its too bad, cause that journey totally rocks. Even more than the band, as hard as that is to believe.

I put up pictures of my friends, family, and ex's a little while ago. Just a visual representation of how I have matured over the years and how those people have had an impact of my life.

Sarah, I swear, you are in 3/4ths of them. You really should run for mayor ;D
