If it makes someone laugh, something good has come out of it...

Apparently I snored so loudly during econ lecture today that people sitting at least four rows in front of me could hear it, and were laughing mercilessly until someone finally woke me up. I was sleeping peacefully. I didn't hear anything! I did stay up until three in the morning yesterday watching the Daily Show, and will probably do so again tonight because it's covering the State of the Union Address, so to compensate I took a nap from 3:00 to 5:00. When I got up to go to the bathroom at 5:00, the curtains in my room were drawn and the lights were off, but it wasn't completely dark because the sun hadn't yet set. Nevertheless from inside my room it could have been dawn or dusk, and when I went to the bathroom someone was taking as shower, so for a moment I thought I might actually have slept through to Thursday morning, which actually wouldn't have been all bad.

Recently Natt and I made some makeshift modifications to our room so that we have more desk space. By more I mean that now I have a little, instead of none, and Natt has a very nice amount, instead of a few square inches. Natt's desk add-on is a turn table stand (a piece of un-sanded plywood on a metal stand) covered with a blue bed sheet I'm not using. Mine is a random board I found in storage and covered with one of the see-through shower curtains I put in our bathroom before F&M was kind enough to give us opaque ones. It works amazingly well; I can look out the window when I work at it, being covered with the shower curtain means that I can spill anything on it without worrying about stains, and now I don't have to do my homework standing up at my bed, which was just ridiculously awkward. Natt's also using my old keyboard, which until now was just sitting under my bed collecting dust.

Maybe I should be an engineer! Then again, no.
