Do NOT go to dinner directly after checking your mail if you find a Netflix DVD in your mailbox.
Do NOT put that Netflix DVD under a plate on your tray for safe keeping while you eat.
You WILL forget that it is there and send it on your tray into the kitchen.
You WILL realize that you have done this once you get back to your room.
The cleaning staff in the kitchen WILL think that the flat Netflix envelope is a piece of trash, and they WILL throw it away.
The DVD WILL end up in a garbage can full of partially eaten hamburgers and bits of lettuce coated with Ranch dressing.
The kitchen worker you talk to WILL tell you that he's busy with the returned trays, but that you CAN put on a pair of rubber gloves and search through the trash for the DVD in the tray return area where everyone returning a tray can watch you paw through a bag of discarded food.
And unless you want pay Netflix for the DVD, you WILL do this.
