...but who dedicates a book called "Introduction to Error Analysis" to his WIFE?!?! "Honey, you're so wonderful that I wanted to immortalize my love for you by declaring it in the front of a book read by physics students everywhere. You are as sweet as the uncertainties in two measurements of different quantities when correctly recorded to only one significant figure and added together in quadrature!" I only mention this because my recently-purchased copy of "Introduction to Error Analysis" by John R. Taylor is indeed dedicated to his wife. Almost makes me want to reconsider my commitment to majoring in physics, but I really am a nerd at heart, although I like to think that I'm a nerd with at least a little more social tact than Taylor. Oh well.
