UPS: The Final Deal
Two and a half months after I first made the mistake of shipping my computer with UPS, the horrible ordeal that ensued is finally resolved. I'm getting a check for "a couple hundred dollars," nowhere near the cost of the computer, but definitely better than what I would have gotten if I hadn't kept complaining. I'll take this as evidence for the power of being a squeaky wheel, when the circumstances justify it, of course.
And now I have to move all of my crap out of Case storage before it's auctioned off in the morning. It'll sit in the hallway for a few days before I simply put it back down there for almost a year. Wheeee!!!
