Still, he thought about Sophie often enough, and wondered how she was getting on. He kind of missed her -- she was, despite how things had turned out in the end, a good friend to James, the sort that didn't take any of James' bullshit, and James liked that. He appreciated it.
He was walking across the lobby idly with a newspaper in his hand, reading it as he walked, with the intention of heading back to his and Greg's room.

"...James?" It was rather soft within the din of the lobby, but she'd caught sight of him and it was either James or that little 'Neil' boy all grown up.
Personally, she was hoping for the former. She missed him as well - he'd really been one of her only friends in New York that she even remotely liked, despite the whole 'threatening-and-hitting' thing that had happened.
She supposed she probably drove him to it by telling Greg about his little affair. But really, right now she probably could use a doctor.

His eyes widened and he absently lowered the newspaper. He felt a rush of hot-cold run through his body in one sweep at the shock of seeing Sophie there.
"Sophie?" he replied, sounding beyond incredulous.

After that, she takes a breath and sighs very heavily. "You must think that I am stalking you."
Her brow furrows and she glares out the front doors. The Priory must have known he was here. The thought didn't really surprise her... they were very clever people, after all.

He made his way down to the second floor and started scouting the hallways.

She'd been crying, but now it was only a scarce sniffle now and again.

But his eyes settled on Sophie huddled up and crying.
He watched her for a moment before he made his way across to her, crouching down beside her.
"Hey," he said, quietly, all his anger with Greg suddenly dissipated, focused solely on Sophie and the fact that she was crying.

Sophie wiped her cheeks with one hand. "Hi." Equally as soft, probably because she didn't want to talk much louder right now. She was awfully tired...but then again, this sort of emotional stress when she was only a month and a little pregnant couldn't be good.
