Love for Tom
I don't know why (actually I have an idea), but Fall time can get no better than with Mr. Waits. The movie biopic of his early career will be one of my next projects (post Loads of Dames, The Bald Knobbers, country farm grindhouse flick, high-school comedy).
From the sweet and melodic, to the syncopated and raw, Tom Waits rocks my world. He who inspired the Muppets' Rolf the Dog, and he who is responsible for coining the phrases, "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy", and "Champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends".
