After 11 mos. of searching, I finally got a Wii Fit! I just finished an hour-and-a-half session with it, and can't believe it's even more awesome than I've always dreamed. And the exercises are much harder than I'd anticipated. Too bad my Wii Fit age is 43, even though I'm 32! I'm gonna get crackin' with this, alternating with my Bowflex. At least it measured my Body Mass Index at 22. I then checked out the Wii Nintendo Channel, which featured a new video, "Fred Willard Teaches Cooking", or something like that. It's awesome, and even cooler to see exclusive content like that coming in through the Wii channels. That system is still blowing my mind even after two years, and not just through the games but also the channel selections and downloads. And I still can't get enough of The Force Unleashed and Clone Wars Battles with the nunchuk element; can't wait for Ghostbusters this summer!
Spent most of the day at my parents' house with
falfax and Mina after seeing the FANTASTIC movie W. this morning (I wanted to see it SO BAD in theatres, but it had only been here a week back in Oct. for some reason). Had Hideaway Mediterranean pizza for late brunch.
Received the remaining Universal Monsters Legacy DVD collections in the mail yesterday! Picked up Captain Cronos, Countess Dracula, Vampire Lovers, and Vampire Secrets on DVD for CHEAP at Wal-Mart Friday night. Had dinner at Texas Roadhouse with
techix and
looking_askance last night (Saturday).
I'm off all this week, after a whirlwind of work last week. In a few hours I'll rise to knock Howling Moon out of the park editing-wise. My lunch break will include seeing the penultimate Clone Wars episode of season 1 (episode #21). Camping later this week...!
