Only ten more hours 'til the DVD release of P.T. Anderson's masterpiece about the early 20th Century conflict of religion and industry, which I found to be the best film of the past ten years. Some may've thought my devotion to attempting to see it at all costs a bit extreme, but this wasn't a traditional movie release; this was a film getting comparisons to Citizen Kane (1944), the best film ever (we're talking in terms of solidarity, direction, scope, richness of aesthetic, and advancing the medium of film). And considering that the cinema is my temple, this was a full-on revival at the sanctuary of the silver light.
Which reminds me: I still have yet to buy Jonny Greenwood's (of Radiohead fame) most excellent soundtrack:
