Hollywood's Quandary

Nov 02, 2007 12:17

So the writer's strike went-through, and now there'll be no new television shows or new films slated for possibly months. This also means that all the usual on-the-set last-minute rewrites so important to the process are out the window as well, even in the face of emergencies.

So what does this mean? Boredom for people that watch television, (even) crapp(ier)y movies six months down the road, and a land of opportunity for me! I could care less if I make a few dollars less off each DVD sale. Studio Execs hear me out: I'll work for very little provided you remember my services when the "big boys" get back!

But don't pay attention to this guy. I could give you real scripted examples rather than the nudge-nudge-wink-wink cheese he advertises in his videos.
