Hide Away Folk Family

I'm trying to pack up my cubicle for my big move upstairs, after having gone to the obstetrician's office earlier today for our monthly appointment, when falfax calls me in a panic because this creepy guy that had been in the house earlier was back, this time without a convenient excuse. At this point he was calling and banging on the doors, so I called 911 for the first time in my life (at least the first time it was intentional). Supposedly the sheriff is on his way. Keep in mind this is at least six miles out in the country.

The guy was being really weird. He'd been there yesterday to deliver rock for construction. When he showed up this morning it was because he wanted to "take a look around" because he "thought he'd left his wallet there in the house", even though he hadn't been in the house. He asked her a ton of questions, hitting on her. When he asked why she was home, she said she had this whole week off to study for her comprehensive exams. When asked what she was studying for, she said it was for her 2nd Master's, in Library Science. He said, "Oh, so you're gonna be one of those sexy librarians, huh?"

At the doctor's appointment she was worried he may return, knowing it wasn't likely, but that if he did he had NO business being there again. When she just called it was to inform me that he was calling out to her that he was back because he'd just "found his checkbook". We'll have to see what happens.

I have to go directly to my brother's house after work to help his family move, but I may delay that if she's still shaken. And to top it all off, its POURING rain, and has been not only all day, but for about 60 DAYS STRAIGHT! No joke; I feel like I'm in the northwest, because there has not been one day since early May that it hasn't stormed, flooded, or just generally poured rain. It's the most bizarre summer I can ever remember weather-wise. It's usually 103 straight through, bleaching sunny skies for most of Oklahoma. To think this guy was trying to come back into the house in the pouring rain is even more ridiculous to imagine.
