What did you think of Nacho Libre?

I loved it, but apparently a lot of people think it's terrible. RickW didn't even like it, and I thought for sure he would, since he likes Napoleon Dynamite so much.

I loved it, but didn't think it surpassed Napoleon (nor did I ever have that expectation). I was amazed at how many trademark Jared Hess visual shots had carried over however. I'll watch it many more times, but its just too different a film from Napoleon to even compare.

After re-reading my post, I should point out that the Millers are falfax's parents who we are currently staying with, so no, we weren't ditching your party in favour of someone else's; This was literally in our backyard!

Haha, the party thing didn't even occur to me!

I wouldn't say it surpassed ND, but I thought it was on par. Like a premium ice cream of the same quality, just a different flavor variation.

I'm kinda hungry for corn on the cob now. (Was that butter or mayonaise on the corn? The Japanese mix corn and mayo sometimes, and it's not bad.)

Yeah! I understood it to be butter and cayenne pepper. But someone I was with said it was white cheese sauce. Now you've thrown out another possibility into the mix! Guess we'll have to wait for the DVD commentary, but I still imagine its butter.

You know what's messed up about that first corn scene? I actually thought it was some kind of paste deliberately put on the corn to whiten his teeth, because they were sparkly in the next scene. Then of course later I realized...

God that hole in the house was funny!!!!!!

I thought it was really funny. Time will tell whether it's as re-watchable as Napoleon Dynamite, but I would definitely see it at least once more. The little Ugnaught wrestlers were freaky!

When is your video shoot?

Yeah, those little Ugnaughts were good. My favourite was the white-bat masked wrestler. I'll have to see it again to remember his name.

The shoot is Thurs. the 29th for CMT (Country Music Television).
