Lost now Found
For the past 24 years straight, I've been obsessed with finding out the identity of two films. Last night I met success!
At the age of five I watched a film that ended in a jungle temple, with a nude woman slow-dancing to her death with an anaconda, set to a hauntingly beautiful tune. It also stars a midget that moves a lot of the plot along.
That same season I saw another film, in which a boy is imprisoned in the family home, and becomes a survivor by way of capturing a rat and roasting it for food. This act gives him self-sufficience enough to know he is his own master, and can topple the patriarchy that bound him to this existence.
Both these films (or more specifically, these respective scenes, since I can't remember anything else about them), had a profound effect on me. And with only three other exceptions, are the only films I've ever seen that I don't know the names of. The names of these are: Isle of the Snake People (1971) and Castle of Purity (1973).
I shall have them shortly so I can come full-circle with this journey! Looking back on my new movie idea from a few weeks ago, I now see the connection between the closing scene of the snake cult one being mostly identical to the opening scene of this new idea!
EDIT: I just clicked over to the imdb boards to see if anyone had been able to answer my question about yet another of those remaining three film, in which a man has a special relationship with a shark. And guess what? It was answered correctly! Woo-hoo! That makes 3 out of 5, all in one day! And to think I'd been waiting decades for this. And the weirdest thing is that I've literally spent hours and hours on imdb, message boards, and "Ask So-and-So" services the past few years about these titles. Looks like I'm on a winning streak!

2nd EDIT: I just found the fourth one out of five! The Rascals (1980), about a group of young boys that go to a boarding school, fall in love with an older woman, and try to convince her to have sex with them. Now I'm gonna go polish off that last one!
