2 hrs. of sleep...What a wonderful morning!

I spent SO long yesterday refining these projects for the fest. From noon til 4:30 AM last night! And yesterday was such a nice day. What's sad is my perfectionism forced me into this groggy state. The thought of an audience in a theatre during the fest hearing a two second audio dropout terrified me enough that I re-rendered and transferred the longer project THREE times before it seemed acceptable to me. And these are basically commission works. Grrrr....An extended lunch is in order for me to finish duplication and mailing these out since they're technically due today!

In other news, I'm shocked at how easily I can verge on tears from seeing human kindness in action. The past six months or so, I can be anywhere and observe something that will instantaneously affirm the good in human nature to the point where I feel the tears well up. It's so surprisingly quick when it happens, and cuts deep. Am I becoming more sensitive towards the human condition with age, or simply becoming better at recognizing it?

insane editing projects, deadlines, sleepless nights, perfectionism, editing, human nature
