There's nothing quite as humbling as the Myst series.

I'm currently somewhere around 3/4 of the way through Myst IV: Revelation, and I feel like crying. I've spent the past.. oh.. 5 hours on a single puzzle. I even crumbled and read the section in a walkthrough and it STILL won't work.

This makes me very sad. I was doing so well.

That's a shame, because the games are really beautiful. Half of my enjoyment is simply from looking at the pretty graphics. :)

This one, #4, has an ultra-naturey type world in it that I think you'd love. I know I want to live there. :)

I can never get passed the musical puzzles - being tone deaf and all. :-((

Sometimes the musical puzzles are just patterns, though. Actually, most puzzles have a pattern to them -- that's how I solve them half the time. There's also lots of clues scattered about; attention to detail is a big plus for being able to finish the games. :)
