Two Hundred and Seventy-Sixth Arrow

[Doumeki knew there was something wrong from the moment he woke up. The first thing he noticed was the lack of a soft mattress beneath his head; the second, where ever he was smelled dank and moldy, and his room definitely didn't smell moldy. Lastly, he had a head ache the size of Yuuko's sake stash.

He sat up slowly, hand going to his temple as it throbbed, glancing around. The room was completely dark, and he wasn't sure whether or not to risk trying to stand. Another curse?

Doumeki's question was answered as a screen about five-six feet away flickered to life, but not without a healthy amount of static. The voice, and the picture on the screen, made his stomach drop and his blood turn to ice in his veins. He'd heard that voice before.

"Doumeki Shizuka, I want to play a game.

You've resolved to yourself that there is one person that you will protect no matter what the circumstances. Someone that you would give your life for, if it came down to that. But how much do you really know that person? Know them inside and out--know whether or not they're a person that you should really risk your life for?

I've planned a little game for you, to see how much you really know."

Two screens on either side of the first flicker on, showing (who else?) Watanuki in a room. But their movements aren't the same--something seems off.

"Here you see two of that very person. Yes, there are two of them. One of them is the real one, the other, a fake. They are behind two different doors, and which one is the real one is up to you to decide. You will have to go through several rooms to get to them with several tasks. After each task, you will be given a paper with a question, and then an answer from each of them, to help you decide which is which. After you have completed these tasks and reached the end, you must choose one door or the other. Choose right, and you both go free. Choose wrong, and you both die. Simple, right?"

The lights in the room flicked on, and Doumeki flinched slightly as his eyes adjusted. There were the three screens, and a door below the first screen.

"Your first task is through this door."

And with that, all three screens turned off.]

[Network video post]

[have a Doumeki. The camera is behind him, and he's standing in front of a door that has three TV screens above it. As you watch, he's stepping towards the door, reaching out to turn the handle and pushing it open, walking inside. The camera angle changes to watching him come inside the room from the side.

As the lights come on, what is inside the room becomes clear. There are strands of barbed wire laced around the room, from wall to wall, ceiling to floor, and diagonally across the room. On the other side of the wire mess is a glass bottle with a note in it.

Doumeki licks his lips, before he taking a step towards the mess of wire, reaching out a hand and trying to avoid some of the wire's barbs as he starts picking his way through it.

[ooc: Every action post in this journal made by Watanuki toppedbyfate and Doumeki monsterepellant are visible on the network. They can be responded to, but they cannot respond themselves, as they can neither hear nor see any responses. Okay, I lied. Doumeki will be able to respond, but any tracking on the devices is turned off. For the record, we're not entirely sure how this is going to turn out XD ]
