[The three of them-- Yuuko, Watanuki, and Clow-- were all on deck, sitting together, awaiting any new boats or ships and scanning for their other member. Yuuko had a blanket wrapped loosely around her shoulders, even though it was unnecessary as she could keep herself warm and dry more than well enough. She sat silently against Watanuki's side, eyes solemn, which was rare but not that surprising. The one difference in her stance at the moment was the faintest hint of vulnerability that lay in the tightness around her red-gold eyes.
At the sound of the sailor's voice, her head whipped up and over, eyes and magical senses hastening to pick out the familiar form and aura.]
Doumeki-kun. [she rose quickly, one hand pre-emptively reaching out to support Watanuki as he no doubt stood as well, and stepped forward towards the new arrival.]
[Clow had been sitting on Watanuki's other side (away from Yuuko for the moment) with a blanket similarly wrapped around him - equally unneccessarily, too, as he was quite warm. However, he was also quite tired, even if the only way it showed was that he was much more passive and lost in thought than usual. More accurately, in his case, his thoughts consumed him and it was hard to stay alert and in the present.
He stood as the sailor called out Doumeki's name (for the duration of the curse, at least), a bit more calm than Yuuko, but also offering his arm for Watanuki to lean on him if he would.]
His brain was muddled at best, standing immediately, abruptly, ahead of Yuuko and Clow a bit but forced to stop as fast as he stood, his swaying only stopped by those same people, each offering a bit of support. He still couldn't, you know, see anything really, but he could hear pretty well.
Shizu---
...Doumeki.
Alive.
That. Idiot.
That. Hypocrite.
That.
...
Doumeki.
But alive was.......good.
Looking around wouldn't have done well for him at all so he settled for listening more closely, unsteady on his feet but way too stubborn to sit down until the stupid one was back in their presence. ]
[Doumeki's head turned toward both Yuuko, then Clow's voice, relaxing, allowing some bit of consciousness to slip away, but still holding onto it. He could see the three of them--so the idiot was alright. Good. He dimly felt the sailor wrap an arm around his shoulders and lead him towards the group, and barely registered him telling him how lucky he was--but Doumeki didn't pay much attention.
Amber eyes lifted, hazily focusing on first Clow, then Yuuko, and finally resting on Watanuki]
Yo.
[it was quiet, strained, hoarse from being out in the cold all night, but it was accompanied by a very slight twitch from the corner of his mouth that, had he been in a normal situation, would've been a smirk]
[Yuuko just looked at him for a long second, appraising his condition and thought, in the distant part of her mind that was always the coldly logical Dimension Witch, that he had gotten off fairly well. She saw his eyes rest on Watanuki and she gave the boy beside her a light pat on the arm, hand resting there for just a brief moment. A smile ghosted on her lips, the first real one for hours; first to herself and then to Doumeki as she moved forward to substitute for the sailor acting as his prop, murmuring a soft thanks. Doumeki was taller than her, but slumping as he was, she supported him easily.]
He was worried. [she confided to him in a conspiratorial, stage-whisper, grinning just a little. the unspoken "we all were" was implied.]
[Clow, not possessing the restraint at the moment not to, lets out an audible sigh of relief. His eyes drift closed as he does so, but he wills them back open.
He puts his arm around Watanuki as Yuuko breaks away to go help Doumeki.]
He looks cold and tired, but I think he'll be alright. [this is said for Watanuki's benefit, knowing that the boy can't see and must be wondering, but it's said placidly enough that he could also be voicing his thoughts out loud. Most likely, it's a bit of both.]
[Eyes are mostly closed because he's tired, even if he's too stubborn to sit at this point, and scowls in spite of the grace of Clow telling him what he needs to know: Doumeki the idiot will be fine.
They will all be fine.]
....thank you.
[it might be thank you for the words or the physical support, or both....it's definitely not a thank you to Doumeki.....
...well not really...as he sort of opens his eyes fully, blurry as if just waking up toward the direction Doumeki's hoarse voice came from.]
....hypocrite.
[But he says it like.....well.....like it might be a good thing.]
[almost winces at Watanuki's words - that is exactly what he wants to say to Yuuko right now. He flashes her a look, a truly angry one, for just a brief second before forcing his attention back on the boys.]
Yes. You both need to rest.
[he smiles placidly (this just goes to show you how false and superficial most of his smiles really are) as he begins to usher Watanuki towards somewhere warm and relatively soft to lie down if he will.]
[Supposing he does lie down, he's only doing it after the hypocrite does on basis of......something. He's not sure what but damn if he's going to go to sleep first. But Clow is ushering him around and he's going with them....]
Later...right.
[That's right later, later when he can yell and flail and go absolutely you-are-the-biggest-hypocrite-ever on that idiot with the hypothermia in the corner, wait not the corner, whatever.
[and he knows he's going to get an earful later, but right now, he just wants to sleep]
Mn.
[its an agreeing noise, and somehow forgets the fact that passing out while standing up is a bad idea, so he does so anyway, legs buckling underneath him, but he's caught by Mommy anyway, so it's alright--and this archer is now out of commission]

Nope.
[denial--he's got his reasons. In his mind, he's not a hypocrite at all.]

Come, children, you can continue this somewhere relatively warmer.
