change 015// the [lack of] kindness of strangers

I realize with an influx and otherwise of people to the City, curses continue to be both unexpected and part of the everyday but, either way, is it really necessary to pick on the people who want to apologize or mark its passing? I guess some of you are more or less just apathetic but....still.....you don't have to read or listen to anything on the ( Read more... )

You didn't have to read or listen to anything I said, either.

No, but I chose to.

We're complaining about two very different things anyway.

You're whining about me whining about whining. Not seeing much of a difference.

I was more calling attention to it.

....of course you were rather insensitive about it all, hard to ignore...

I'd normally say: okay it's none of my business but...in this case, making a public broadcast like that, it's going to hurt the actually sensitive.

My friends...

I guess what I mean is: you could stand to word it differently. Instead of making it like a judgment on people who couldn't help but be cursed. They didn't choose to be you know.

"What's your problem anyway?" Sounds like whining to me.

Get over it.

All I said was people should stop posting and telling people the curse is over. It's been days. Everyone already knows.

Right. Apparently you don't have a problem with judging me, though.

Subjective. I admit that too.

I have nothing to get over. Mostly, you were an example. From the apathy of your post I wouldn't have expected you to reply to this.

Aftermath can be dragged out, whether we like it or not.

I haven't made any judgments on your person really outside of that comment, which I did judge as sort of unfeeling...you might want to take into consideration there's a fair amount of children here. They might take it the wrong way.

Besides, you certainly had a choice whether or not to bother posting such a thing.

I'd delete you if it didn't seem wishy-washy.

[ooc: strikes deleted/not there 8) sorry Squall, Watanuki is in semi-hyper-active mode about this....>>; he'd let it go except he's too stubborn :x ]

That's not admitting to anything.

You can always try getting over the fact that someone said something you didn't agree with, instead of acting like it was a personal attack. I don't even know who you are.

Calling someone out and then saying "I didn't expect a reply" is just stupid.

You had the choice whether or not to bother reading it, if you're going to act high and mighty at least be on some moral high ground. Whatever.

[ooc: XD Strikes also not there, internal monologuing Squall style.]

Again, nothing to get over.

I don't really think so. Plenty of things are said and people don't necessarily respond, whether it's about them, related to them, or so far removed from them that it'd be weird to have a reply anyway.

Whatever?

I see....one of those....oh joy.

[ooc: he does like to do that 8D silly boy... :3 ]

Good for them.

Obviously you have more than a few things to get over if this ticked you off that much. So much for apathy.
