Help!!! I need an unbiased opinion.... please?!
So, a few of you might know that I've recently completed a slew of illustrations for my husband's first novel. It's not printed yet, but still.... YAYYY!!!! Anywho, apparently the editor really liked them and insists I have a webpage and they'll put that in with my credits. Again, yayy!!! Except, well, I don't actually have a website yet. So my IT-techy sister-in-law rushed in to the rescue and came over to help. I'm honestly beyond stupid when it comes to these types of things. After about a litre of wine EACH! she insisted I pick my domain name cause, in her words, " oh! you never get the first one you pick. It'll take hours to figure one out so just pick one now and we'll start the process!" Oh hahahaha. A lot (read 'most') of my drawings include very silly birds fluttering about so after about 30 seconds I thought, "Hey! What about Avian Ink?" I figured just about everything to do with 'ink' would be taken with all the artists and tatooists out there but whaddya know, it wasn't. So now it's mine. And this made me relatively happy until someone said, "Avian Flu????" NONonononono!!!!! *groan* So tell me, friends, in your most honest & blunt opinion, does the name suck?? Does it remind you of farms filled with diseased chickens? Other suggestions were: Wicked Ink (but no, cause hello? When you say it, it's 'Wicked Dink') or.... ok, shit, I can't remember the rest of the names right now. AAaaarghhh!!! Help???
In other news, I'm sooooo jealous of all you lucky people that went to Azkatraz!!!!! I can't imagine what it must be like to be there. The other day I was in the drugstore with my friend when I suddenly threw my hands in the air and squealed! I had caught sight of a magazine called "Movie Magic" and it was alllllllll Harry Potter with a gorgeous spread of Tom and there was Merlin and.. and... and *EEEK!!!!!* Needless to say, my friend called me a colossal dork. I mean, she's right, but still, it would be nice to talk to someone in RL who shares my glee. :)
