As I was coming out of the restaurant where I had lunch today, I was struck by a bicycle that was being ridden on the sidewalk, far too close to the doorway. I had no way of seeing him coming. He didn't stop, and when I yelled at him not to ride his bike on the sidewalk, he called back, "I don't have a license to ride it on the road!"
Which is BULLSHIT because it is ILLEGAL to ride your bike on the sidewalk and you don't need a license to ride in the street.
I should have fallen down and acted really hurt. As it was, no one else blinked an eye. I feel like I was assaulted on the street and nobody did a damn thing.
