I just gave a random student advice on how to cite something. Then she asked me about how to use apostrophes. I could have told her, I guess, but instead I referred her to the Writing and Learning Centre, which is where she thought she was.

Short State of The Monster:
- slightly tired, but feeling good
- wearing shirtwaist dress over jeans
- have had two cups of tea and a banana muffin
- need to buy a set of knitting needles because I broke one with my super-strength
- my office is moving next week
- I saw a horror movie last night and I didn't have nightmares. it wasn't scary enough for that. Also, it's the kind of movie that gives you no real reason to like any of the characters.
