Though the words we speak are banal not one of them's a lie.

Good Godzilla, I hate writing cover letters.

I am wearing:
- the black anarchic shoes
- knee-high blue argyle socks
- grey flared cords with buttons on the cuffs
- stripey H&M panties
- turquoise 3/4 length sleeve raglan Club Monaco shirt
- black bra
- lipstick
- mascara
- pink spider watch
- rings
- my hospital id card, which says "Temporary Staff" but I put a sticker on it with my name and a happy face.

I ride to work in the most random of ways (note: my legs were not so sore this morning) and today I found myself caught in a maze of twisty crescents and streets that don't go through when I discovered Sherwood Park. I got so excited, thinking, "I can ride through this park to work!" I was especially excited because I knew that the park also faces onto the road across the street from the hospital.

After about five minutes of riding through the park, it became evident that the park is not intended for cycling. I even came to a sign that read "No bicycling" which was a bit silly, since it's very difficult to ride a bicycle up stairs.

I followed the dog-off-leash area for a long time, and then it started curving back on itself until I had no idea where I was in relation to the street I wanted to get to, and I also had no idea how to get out of the park. Finally I came to a more conventional road which led to another maze of twisty crescents, and I eventually found my way out to a street that led right into the hospital. But damn, it was nerve-wracking.

On the other hand, I did discover a really beautiful, forest-y park with lots of walking trails. It's just not for cycling through.
