yesterday was one of the best days i've had in a long time.
my little buddy and i took a little road trip to visit sam at her apartment.
jacob has only really been out to a few places here and there and he has never been in the car for that long. he was so good the entire day [he usually is].
catching up with my claire was amazing as always - i am looking forward to seeing her more often so that we can actually hang out as opposed to 'catching up'.
sam gave me a copy of prozac nation - i have one already - but this one is so much better. sam met elizabeth wurtzel and told her about me and she signed the book for me.
'dear violet, don't give up five minutes before the miracle happens'
seriously, just, seriously!
after having a great afternoon and feeling alive and connected [like a real person, even] i was packing up the little guy and going to put him in the car - sam's neighbor left a little note on my car letting me know that one of my tires looked a little low. it's seriously such a cute little note. i love when people do things like that. it's just so nice. i love nice people.
my jake is being a little monster today.
right now he's on the floor playing and i just heard his 'cry'
he's faking crying - so i looked over at him and he's laying there with a big grin on his face, fake crying, and he's only wearing one sock.
he's such a goof.
tonight i'm taking him to get his picture taken with the easter bunny.
i know it's doubtful - but i really hope he makes one of these faces.
i'm so totally proud of him [and of these pictures].
he looks so much cuter now that he sleeps through the night.
[i just heard him fake cry again - i turned around and looked at him and said 'waaaaa' and he looked back up at me and giggled].
