I'll tell you why, cause the people who still keep it real, are observed as boring, while fakers are fancy and exciting and "glamorous", thus they're much more popular, and what's popular becomes normality, thus fake is the new real.

I agree, but how? You'd need to make the ordinary folks more intelligent and that ain't happening any day soon.
