Many's the time I've been whapped upside the head with a colourful hex during battle, on occassion waking three days later with claws where fingers ought to be or suchlike. This is new ( Read more... )

You are, you're my mum's dead brother, I'm your niece.

The heart's stopped once already, no need to shy away from stopping it again.

So. Molly's got a daughter, then? How long've I been out for?

Har, har.

Er. ...I... think something like thirty-five years, actually, Mum was only maybe fifteen.

Thirty-five...

All right. No need to panic. Where's Gid at? He'll set me strait on what's what.

Er. Approximately.

He... went down with you.

You're something of a legend in the Order actually, it took five Death Eaters. One of them was Dolohov, I think, the bastard.

You know of the Order? There's a girl!

He's dead now as well, one would hope? More so than I am, perhaps?

Gid was brilliant, love. Pity you hadn't the chance to see. Tactically mad, him. Brilliant.

'Course I do, Mum wouldn't let me join officially during the War but I might as well've been in it.

Quite dead, yes. I forget who got him, someone who was in the Order though.

That's what Mum always said. ...She's never really gotten over it, you know.

The war? There was another one, then? After? And you a child? I'm right proud of you, mollysprog.

Devil take his dues. Good to hear.

No? She's had a good life though, hasn't she? Still around and terrifying the boys?

Aha. Thanks? ^^; Really I was just going after Harry and Ron and Hermione, couldn't let them have all the fun after all. Yes, there was, a couple of years ago -- Voldemort again.

Oh, quite. And yes, thoroughly, I do believe she even still Floos Bill regularly to harass him even though he's thirty-one years old. I would be less than shocked if she'd Floo'd the flat while I was out just to bother Light, as well.

Friends of yours, are they? Again? Went away and came back, did he? You used the past tense up there, does that mean I've missed the second coming?

All these unfamiliar names. Indulge an old man and tell him about his new neice and all of hers. I've quarters in a small Poole flat, but I'll meet you anyplace you like for a cuppa?

Yes to all of those, actually. XD Fortunately he is now very very gone thanks to Harry.

Oh, old my arse. I'm in Tokyo actually which I somehow doubt you're terribly familiar with so probably it would be easier were I to come meet you somewhere closer to you.

Ah, Harry's one to ask about, is he? A story no doubt best told over pastries or curries of some sort.

I'm always up for an adventure, but I'll forego this time in the interest of not becoming absurdly lost. Is Diagon Alley too far for you at this hour? Met up with a vampiress there last night, so I'm certain I remember the way.
