Things i love,
*MUSIC. Above all things music. Where would i be without it? The 'Wait, They Don't love you like i love you', the 'And the sky was ALL violet' and the 'Time is never time at all'. I would hate not having experinced this music. Music to me, is passion. Whenever i don't feel aything, and i just get the deadwood feeling, i just throw on some music, and i just feel it. Those little explosions! I tell you what, if i had to choose between Orgasms and Music, i would 99% pick music. Since i started palying guitar, it just seems so 3d. There are no words. It's jsut like when you hear the first fewbars of 'Violet' and you just want to spread your arms out and spin. Or when you listen to 'Gigantic' and you feel all (excuse the use of the word ) smitten, even though you're not in love. Or 'Date With The Night', when you just wanna tear a limb off just to release some kind of energy. It reminds you of a friend or a time. And sometimes it's hard to listen to it. But it's always there.
Music is so special, that's why i don't understand people who choose to listen to this processed ashlee-britney-christina shit. There is no passion there? how can you get passion out of music that was writtne for you and lyrics that were written for you , by lets face it, someone wh o has discovered a formula to make money.
Another thing that pisses me off about the abuse of music is the downloading of it. It's fine to download it, just but it if you like it.

* Emotions. Empathy, anger, corage, etc
* Books. The Valley Of The Dolls. Color Purple. LOTR. Wow, i think books are begining to become like an untapped source of entertainment. There is just heart in books. You must read the valley of the dolls.
*Things that are ugly-raw-and-Beautiful. Live through this, is my perfect example. Songs about Rape, Abandonment loss. Really hurtful to listen to at times, but it makes you feel like you've lived it because they have. The Velvet Underground is another example, blatant songs about drug use, so honest, and they don't apologize for it. The song 'Heroin' is oddly sad, because you feel at anytime, he might die, and he know's it and you know it, but he's willing to risk all of that just to feel something. I believe everyone has a story to tell, no matter how small.
Jennifer North is another. Just read the book. So twisted, it grabs you by the heart. You can't beleive that something that awful happened. Getting sad just typing....:(
