Soran/Trystanknight here, just finished doing my lj and realized I better do what he asked and update here too:
Chris sayeth that everything is going smoothly towards the acquiring-money aspect of the trip, but everything else sucks so far. He only has one or two friends, and he's going kinda mad waiting on his scheduling calls (since he hasn't got a schedule yet) and wishing he had more friends ;)
However, he's doing das better with the whole thing as he's realized he needed to face some alone time anyway, so he's not gonna go splut anytime soon.
not much, but in a place where he has no social contact and recently lost his internet access (SUCK), he wants to make sure he has me update as often as possible to let people know he's alive.
