After the part about Anton I actually said out loud to my empty room "This is perfect." You captured Julie's POV there so well--I don't think I've ever read a fic that got into her head around the second season (or ever, really) that believably. And like the above commenter said, she's often written off as selfish and immature, which she can be, but you made those flaws so sympathetic and relatable.
I honestly don't even know what to say. This is just everything I could ever hope for in a Matt/Julie fic. You just matured their relationship beautifully and seamlessly through the story and I couldn't stop reading it. I love that you chose to write it from Julie's perspective and I really love the little scenes you included that we never got to see on the show (Landry yelling at her, Matt/Julie at the movies, Matt coming over for the most awkward dinner ever). Your prose is gorgeous and really engaging. I've always had a hard time getting into FNL fic because it's so hard to improve on the show, but this was just beautiful and definitely going into my memories for future rereads!
Oh, gosh, thank you so, so much! I'm really glad you liked how I wrote Julie. It was a lot of fun to write the scenes that we never got to see on the show, and it makes me so happy to know you enjoyed it! :)
