main character is shaving his head. the hair, though, is not falling to the character's feet. it is disappearing straight into thin air. charater is staring intently into the mirror. he cuts a hole in his head on accident, and the cut splatters blood onto the ceiling in one and only one spurt.
one bird, then two birds, then three birds (all red) exit the wound and character stands, razor in hand, intently(still) staring at the mirror.
