MAN... this series cut deep into me 😫😫😫... because a lot of the things from episode 1 to 3 I experienced with a real close guy friend(who has since passed) back in my elementary/high school days (e.g. I got bullied, that close friend was on the jock clique and talked to me a lot and didn't see two boys talking a lot/hanging out as weird etc. etc. and that went on for 3 or so years)
Between this series and Our Flag Means Death having a M/M relationship being the center focus of a show... 2022 has been amazing. I've been mighty envious of the lady queers becoz they have had been quite visible in live action shows, ANIMATION and comics for years now that a part of me wished I was lesbian lol.
I want to believe that there will be more on the horizon... but I just know the mainstream ain't that kind with M/M relationships in shows...
