Well, I was hoping that college relationships would be something more meaningful and mature than those in high school. What I discovered was that I put myself in wholeheartedly and place my spirit where it isn't wanted. I have learned a lot about myself and where I stand, but I constantly choose people who aren't ready to love me or to work for something that I am willing to spend my time on. It's all right though, because there is always time and new people to learn. As my father always says, "Don't let your highs get too high and your lows get too low." I am still settling in my new environment, dealing with the pressures that this university dishes out, as well as trying to find myself in a sea of people. I wish luck to all those doing the same.
