Love them

School's done. Grades aren't in till tommarow (maybe the day after) and I'm stressing out about them. Its a little uncharachteristic of me to care quite so much about grades. I figure that gettting bad grades will (A) make my life harder if I lose hope and (B) only close doors that I may want to peek through later in life. Anyway, just waiting on my Humnan Geography grade to be posted.

I was just thinking about the garbage concert Cassie and I saw last fall. I had wanted to see them since I was eleven, but dad always swore up and down that they wouldn't tour the US again. Fortunately, when he was dead wrong, he wrangled some tickets from the almighty press gods. I pretty much love everything Garbage has ever done. Theye're an amazing band. love love love.

Babysat today. I love getting paid to read, then play with cute children. The best part is that they take the kids back at the end of it and give me money. Parents are insanely grateful for an opportunity to have lives, even for an afternoon. Surely parenthood isn't rewarding enough to make that kind of restriction worth it? I'm not planning on finding out, but if anyone else is... lemme know. I suppose I could ask Ashley when she has her kid, but I imagine her motherhood experience will be rather unique. I don't envy her having a baby and chemotherapy simultaneously.

In other news, jeff and jim are on one-man missions to kill themselves with rockets this summer. I'm the self-appointed Safety Committee. =). I actually think that thier enthusiasm and creativity when it comes to engines and spaceflight is really amazing. They're so cute when they geek out. I imaginge 11 and I will be spending a great deal of time together. We can watch our boys out in fields in labcoats setting thinkgs on fire and being really confused when they don't work. =) love them.
