A busy weekend with a fuenal at the end

I just finished barying my bird, Pearl. She was pretty old, over six years. I think that she died over the weekend when I was up at State attending my sisters Senior Art Display. It was on friday, so I ended up going up there after school. unfortunately the traffic was horrible and it took forever to get there, bu in the end I was only about half an hour late. The show Itself was very immpressive. My sister did a wonderful job setting it up and her ceramic pieces were awsome. A really cool thing about the show was that she was giving away her pieces, so anyone who came left with a survioneer that she signed. I had the job of photographing everyone who got a piece with a polariod. It was fun and kept me entertained for the duration of the show. The title of the show was Holding onto memories and the photographs were a way of holding on to the memory of the pieces. Leah thinks that over three hundred people came through to see the show plus all of her prof.s came, even the ones noted for being lazy and never going to their students shows. People finally left around 9:30PM we were finished cleaning up at around 11:00. I finally got to go to bed at the hotel at around 12:00 and man was I whipped.

The next day my mom, grend parents and I had luch at this cool Persian place called Aladins Delight. Food was different and delish. When I got home did do my calc home work bu that was about it, for the rest of the time I veggged. On sunday I had an archery tournament. I did really good getting 288 out 300 and getting second place. I lost by two points. I acctually got lucky because my opponet forgot to shoot an arrow in the 11 end(the secind to last end) and that tied us up, but in the last end was too tired a got 23 while my opponet got 25. I had fun though.

Right after Nationals a few weekes ago at practice I found out that my left eye was focusing when a shoot a had been throwing me off for a long time. I am right eye dominant, it has been confirmed by several archery coaches. Unfortunately my left focus when I aim, which is really wierd. It was easily corrected by putting some tape over my left eye on my glasses. After I did this my shooting improve dranmatically, I shot only 10s and 9s afterward. Too bad I did not figure this out before Nations, since my rank would of been much higher. Speaking of which I am currently ranked 38th in the country. Last year I was 32. Oh well.

That was how my weekend was and now I need to go and work on a 2-3 page English paper.
