I'm typically late in doing this, but thought I'd give a proper hello to new friends xylokz ,

I may have hopefully just finished the first draft of my creative writing piece. Needs to be 3030 words, maximum. Mine's currently 3906. ... Yeeah. You can bet how much fun the editing will be. The problem is that it's so expansive inside my head, and I have to cram it down to nothing. I don't want to take out all the back story and connections, because it'll suffer more if I do that, but at the moment I don't know what else to do with it.
Ah well. I'm going to let mum and some friends read it, see if they can give me any feedback. It's due on the 29th, so I have a little time ... but considering the other creative stuff I need to do as well, I don't want to leave it too late.
Aaaaaaaaand apparently it's nine degrees outside? Hooray. Glad I'm snuggled up in bed.
Oh. And I'm strangely obsessed with the latest season of American Idol. Strange because it wasn't even aired here (on free-to-air TV), and I haven't watched it in years or seen any of this year's footage. And yet I've been staring at posts and fics all day. WTF, self?
