notes because of the new ouran drama. actually, i don't mind the casting for it. don’t kill me i suck at crack.
“They’re going to fail worse than Yama-chan trying to woo Saaya-chan.”
Everyone save Yamada just rolled their eyes- Yamada spluttered indignantly but no one seemed to care. “Chii, you don’t even like Ouran. Why are you so torn up over this?” Yuuto said as he flipped through another page of Shounen Jump. “Just ask for a cameo in You’re Beautiful if you want to be on screen that badly.”
“None of that’s the point! That role is practically me, it’s an insult to give it to someone else.” And still no one cared. “All of us could make a better host club than that lot!”
No one noticed when Shida got That Devious Look in her eyes. “You should~ Make your own, that is. In school.”
All of the boys, save Chinen, immediately sent Shida horrified looks. Irie looked like he was debating on when it was okay to hit a girl. Chinen suddenly seemed highly pleased. “That’s not a bad idea…”
“We’re in trouble, aren’t we?” Yuuto whispered to Yamada when Chinen suddenly retreated to his desk and started writing furiously in his notebook.
Yamada was still upset over that Saaya comment.
“Yuuto! Give me your best kind but emo look!”
Shocked by the sudden appearance of Chinen at his desk after class had ended, Yuuto just stared at him with his mouth open. Chinen waited for some kind of other reaction and scowled. “We’ll work on that. You’re going to be the gentle, sorrowful prince so get used to it!”
“W-what? Why?!”
“Figure out your own back story. I was thinking maybe your brother has some kind of terminal illness but-”
“That’s not what I meant! And you can’t just go giving Raiya a disease!”
But Chinen had moved on. “Kamiki! You’re the goofy guy that let’s himself get laughed at but just wants acceptance! And you two,” he pointed to Irie and Sakamoto, both of whom were more absorbed in their bento’s than whatever nonsense was getting spouted, “You’ve been rivals since elementary school, best friends competing in everything!”
“… is this for the host club thing?” Ohgo finally dared to ask, looking at Shida and clearly questioning her friend’s sanity.
“Of course! Everyone has to have their roll, something to pull them in. Don’t you want to get that much closer to Yuuto-kun now that you know he has some deep secret?”
“… not particularly.”
“What about me?”
Chinen gave Yamada a sweet smile. “Of course Yama-chan has to be the king. He’s the most popular after all, and the one everyone wants as their boyfriend.”
“You know,” Kamiki whispered to Yuuto as Yamada smiled widely, “I think Chinen-kun is more suited to Kyoya than Hunny.”
“Well I think this will be great! I’ve always thought that the school should light up a bit anyway, this will be the perfect chance to meet the rest of our school mates! Though of course I have to give priority to the girl’s of our class, so whenever you want me Mirai-chan-”
“Don’t worry Yamada-kun, I wouldn’t dream of taking away someone else’s time with you. Really, wouldn’t even dream of it.”
“I think you have a lot to work on, Chinen-kun,” Kawashima said honestly as Yamada went to cry to Yuuto, followed by Yuuto and Kamiki promptly deciding that they’d rather struggle through the bread line than deal with him, while Sakamoto and Irie started fighting over the last onigiri between them.
Chinen frowned. “I knew I should have asked the 2B guys instead.”

notes just something short because i wanted to write something. yeah.
“Is it okay that I’m here?”
Suzuka doesn’t often say much to anyone who isn’t Shida, and she always seems to be working on some kind of homework. She’s too sweet to be mean so Yuuto figures she’s just shy, but he still can’t get rid of that nagging feeling in the back of his head. Suzuka looks at him with an unreadable face and Yuuto laughs a bit awkwardly. “I just… I’m always hanging around you while you’re working. I don’t want to bother you, that’s all. Though, you never seem bothered… aah I don’t know what I’m saying, I’m-”
“Are you bored?”
Her words are soft and she doesn’t look at him, but he still shakes his head quickly enough to get whiplash. “Not at all! It’s nice here with you, but if I’m annoying you-“
Suzuka’s hand shot out to grab his sleeve, her eyes fixed on her paper as she murmured, “It’s nice when you’re here…” Yuuto could barely make out the blush on her cheeks through her hair. “When you’re not here… I get lonely. You aren’t bothering me…”
Yuuto stared in shock before relaxing, eyes crinkling as he smiled and rested his head on the desk to look up at her. “I’m glad. It’s nice with you, too.”
Suzuka smiled for a second before snatching her arm away and returning to her work with an exaggerated fervor, bending over more to hide her face. Yuuto held back a laugh and contented himself with watching her, thinking it would be okay if every day was like this.

“No no no, Yuuto-kun, you have to sweep your leg back more! Don’t swing it!”
Yuuto was one thousand percent sure that behind a dainty hand she was- no she wasn’t even trying to hide it, Sooyoung-san (“noona! It sounds better!”) was smirking at him and he figured he’d die in a couple of hours. Either from embarrassment or from his legs giving out. “Noona,” he complained as he attempted to not get his legs tangled together, “I don’t think this is possible. My legs just don’t go that way. They actually have bone in them, see.”
“Aww come on, you have long legs, learn how to use them! Long legs drive the girls nuts.”
“But dancing to Genie won’t!” Not in the way it did for guys at the very least- Yuuto imagined that the enjoyment their female fans would get from watching JUMP try to wiggle their hips and move their legs provocatively would be a little bit different from how guys felt watching Shoujo Jidai do the same.
“Aah shush and do it! You’ll be perfect at it in no time!”
Yuuto yelped as she bent down to hit him in the back of the knee, waving his arms wildly to keep from toppling over as she tried to force his leg to move in proper Genie fashion. “Never as perfect as you!” he blurted out.
That got her attention- she stopped and stood up to look at him, her serious expression breaking when she flicked him on the nose. “You are three years too early to be flirting with me!” But still, she smiled back at his sheepish grin, poking his forehead before mussing up his hair. “Go practice on some other girl and get back to me when you’re legal.”
This time he really did fall over when she shoved him in the back of the knee again.
