Grrrr I need to have a really angry talk with someone about what I read in Kassia's journal about what's happening in south dakota! But there are only a few people I'd want to discuss this with and they aren't awake, and the one's that are wouldn't care or would have nothing to say about it. Which would just worsen my mood. I just watched a documentary that a woman made about her mother who had been raped and beaten and it was really upsetting. Earlier in the night I watched a segment on the news about date-rape drugs. And then I see this article about emergency contraception not being available to rape victims in south dakota, and about the rapists possibly getting joint custody if the woman gets pregnant from the rape!!!!! I want to puke! First they ban abortions, even in the case of rape or incest, and now this! It really, really scares me. Women don't get the respect we deserve. I know if I were to tell certain other women about this they'd say, oh that's fucked up, and then change the subject to something really meaningless. I need to breathe.
