An atheist group has decided to
buy advertising on the sides of Washington buses telling people that there is no God this holiday season, because according to the group's spokesman, Christmas is a hard time for atheists, I guess because they have to get lots of presents and not go to church. Now finally our society can stop treating holidays like they are some kind of holy days. Money quote:In mid-October, the American Family Association started selling buttons that say "It's OK to say Merry Christmas." The humanists' entry into the marketplace of ideas did not impress AFA president Tim Wildmon.
God bless the "marketplace of ideas," which involves lots of buttons and bus-side ads, all designed to piss off people who disagree with you.
