[002] [Second Time Around]

Lithium- I've managed to secure employment, and will be looking for housing tomorrow. You would be welcome to accompany me should you wish to leave temporary housing. I believe the section I am considering has connected, but separate living spaces.

[Pause.]And while I appreciate the gifts of paints, I can't seem to get it off of my hands and ( Read more... )

Peel or at least scrub off. Is this permanent? My hands are covered in purple flecks. That's the last time I'm flying Windmere through a residential area.

...Maybe I should just give up and dip them in some other color. The paint seems thin and flexible enough...

It seems to be- I assure you, I've been trying since it got on. I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to paint the doorknob...

I might so the same. At least then it could blend in better.

The doorknob? That seems like a bit much.

...I'd be less annoyed if if was any color but pale purple. There's a can of black paint right here. But it's probably better to just buy gloves.

[...reading a book now where one of his friends says something to the effect of "Mystery? I'll just paint my forehead and feet red and never tell anyone why, will that be mysterious enough?" And the bright orange spraypaint. There's more about paint in his canon than I remembered.]

I'm sure it was a good natured prank- they may not have known it would be difficult to remove.

I could see how that would be annoying, and gloves would be useful for the griffins and cold as well, I imagine.

[...that is adorable. And dlkfjas I will tag log when I finish homework, promise.]

When you put it like that, I guess so.

[I have to tell someone about the spraypaint, because it's the most ridiculous thing. Face needs a disguise in a hurry, so he spraypaints the insides of a mechanic's welding goggles, puts them on his forehead, sticks one end of a tube in his ear and the other in his nose, and successfully bluffs. Afterwards he tries to scrub off the traces of paint from his face and fails - the mechanic says the paint is used to mark work sites and only comes off with the help of a solvent. And he just used the last of the solvent cleaning out his goggles.]

I'm sure someone will know how to remove the paint. After all, I can't have a green hand forever.

[...I love how spectacularly fail some of the X-Wing fighters are. it's so lovely.]

I don't think that we're the only ones, judging from some of the people in the Marketplace. If you were thinking about mixing something that matches your skin - don't. It does not look good at all. Though I'm sure anything is more obvious when you've painted it on your face.

[They're fail, but they're also such. utter. win. And absolutely insane.]

Very well, I won't try that. Perhaps I can locate some paint thinner... though I'm hesitant to just place any solvent on my hands.

[If there's one thing I've learned about a team of pilots that wants to save the world/galaxy, it;s that they kind of have to be.]
