Saw Benjamin Button

Happy New Year! I saw another movie today, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and although I had a few "when the Hell is this going to end?" moments thanks to my impatient nature, it was overall an interesting movie. The best part about movies which take place mostly in a historical setting is how they can't realistically add product placement. The only unnecessary flash of a brand name I saw in Benjamin Button was when the daughter of Daisy randomly started eating from a container of Jell-O while her mother was on her deathbed (of course leaving that part on top we usually throw away erect for the camera with the brand name fully visible). At least that happened in the present-day part of the movie. I thought it was pretty unrealistic in 300 when Leonidas started sipping a Coke. Of course, historical accuracy wasn't the main goal of that movie anyway.

Sprint shows us what movies should look like in a healthy capitalistic society.
