Its 11 a.m. ....do you know where your stove is???
BORING........
I am waiting with little anticipation for some guys to uninstall the stove which was supposed to be our landlords. Now the kitchen once again will digress back to the seventies, but at least its a double oven, which is kinda ghetto, but works out well with the four of us living here. The new dishwasher is spectacular in the sense that this one actually CLEANS the dishes.....the old one seems to have just sprayed some water every now and then. This all almost makes me feel like I should paint it a putrid yellow so it fits into the time period of the kitchen itself, however i could just duct tape the wood panel from the old on to the new one, which in my world adds a touch of class. Last thing about the kitchen, its probably bigger than our living room and didning room combined, but we only use a small portion of the kitchen, one would have to see it to understand, but the back half would be a perfect place to set up a beer-pong table, or hell, maybe some shuffle board for the older crowd, I dunno.
This past saturday was ok, nothing much going on, but I did not mind in the least bit having a few beers with some friends. The home field advantage is a great thingm however I find that without a lot of people or a prior trip to the bar, the night at home seems to end early.....bullocks. Sunday I don'r remember too well. The Redskins kept their streak of sucking alive, which is at least consistant, and after that I probably at some horrible food and watched three excellant shows - 1. The Wire, 2. Family Bonds, and 3. Huff , I would strongly suggest them all, but then again your reading words from someone who once had a freakin rat-tail.....I will never live that down!
I found out that its sweeps week for the local news, which prompts the stations to try and out class the others with crazy reporting. Well I forget which channel, but someone did a report about HEADGEAR and linking it to BLINDNESS!!! That channel deserves the emmy ASAP, I mean as if kids who had to wear that shit are'nt messed up enough, now they have to worry about going blind. I tried to rationalize how the two could begin to correlate, but that's like asking Nickleback to stop sucking......its just not gonna happen.
If all works out tomorrow I'll be meeting up with Catie for a super lunch in her building, which definatley beats my steady diet of what appears to be PBJ's, Big Bites, and Stouffers......its really quality, just ask all the idiots like me who jack their cholesterol with every damned bite. Catie says the pizza is good in her building, so I am fully ready for a few slices, maybe i'll shave so her office mates don't think she is a mentor, or just being nice to some guy who is down on his luck.
I saw an accident this morning in front of my house while I was on the porch, it wasn't bad at all, just slightly humorous because there was no damage to either car or passengers, but all the people driving like assholes in the morning were freaking out, seriously what becomes of people that freak out at the thought of arrving a few minutes late to work, when they would rather risk other lives and their own to max out the corolla so that they can hurry up and have the same shitty scheduled day in and day out.....im just thinking of the humble lesson and genius of Office Space.....MICHAEL BOLTON!!!
