so um yeah, i'm watching a different world right now. they are doing an episode about the rodney king riots.
i must say, it is really fucking bizarre. they are combining all of these serious race relation issues with this cheap comedy.
i don't really know how to describe the strangeness of it.
i understand that the attempt was to somehow incorporate important current events and whatnot into mainstream entertainment. but for fuck's sake, the delivery is goddamn wretched.
