Farewell

Here I sit at the front desk of Blake's dorm reading everyone's latest journal entry and noticed everyone giving their "good-byes" and "i'll miss LSU" but wait I cant do that bc I'M STILL HERE!!! Yes, it looks like Baton Rouge will be my permanent home this summer (New Orleans being my second). I'm staying bc I am taking 2 classes this summer at LSU and picked up a job as Hostess at Texas Roadhouse Grill (off of Siegen). I moved into my condo on Saturday but have yet to actually unpack. I slept there for the first night on Monday. IT STINKS LIKE ANIMALS! For those of you who don't really know me, i don't like pets or animals really for that matter. My condo is invested with 2 dogs, a cat, a gecko, tons of fish, and a turtle. There is dog and cat hair everywhere! And it smells like dog too! YUCK! I went to walmart and bought a glade thingie (the kind that u can just set on a surface) and a can of spray glade stuff too. I was spraying the place down like crazy. I hope my clothes dont permanently pick up the smell bc then i think ill cry.

I really am going to miss all my friends and acquaintances I made this semester. It definitely isn't the same and it is quite boring here without all you kids.

I will be driving to New Orleans frequently before school starts on June 13 depending on my work schedule. I miss home too much (which mostly includes my family and of course Laura). I have a feeling I will also be driving to Covington often to visit the boyfriend, what a waste of gas! just kidding hunny ;)

My eldest sister is graduating from LSU on friday. She is sooo lucky. Although it's not like she is done school; she is going to graduate school at UNC at Chapel Hill - that starts at the end of June. We are having a graduation party for her on saturday; it's going to be a crawfish boil- yes!

I guess that's about it for now. I hope everyone has a productive summer, making alot of money or traveling to kool places and just plain ole' having "fun in the sun"! I'll miss everyone and I hope y'all don't forget me.
