false alarm
phew...
ok, so yesterday when I logged on, this site was BLOCKED through work and I was super pissed. This was my window into my friends' world! But now its working so I can continue procrastinating. Damn, for a minute there I thought I'd have to do work throughout the day.
Anyways - very enjoyable weekend. I started typing a whole story but now have decided to use oompa's listing technique
friday:
1. plans to go to the yankees game w/ 10 other people. 9=indian, 1=token white girl :)
2. "the gentleman" (reference to previous entry) is one of the 10 going and brings over flowers to our apt JUST CUZ. soo wonderful
3. Pound 3 beers in 30 min. at some dive bar in bronx
4. Corey calls around the 3rd inning to say "Hey Monica, you're on tv" I yell this out and a gagillion rows turn around all excited. Corey says, "Na, I'm just kidding" very funny
5. My phone proceeds to plop out of my open purse on my lap and drop into my FULL BEER. I scream "I just dropped my phone in a beer" the crowd thinks I'm completely nuts
6. Get hammered at game - watch 5 min. of the actual game.
7. Go out to sleezy bars on the upper east side
8. "The Lingerer" (also from previous entry) flirts like he's never flirted before in a wasted state, propositions me to go home w/ him in front of the roomies, and tries to make out a few times....I held my ground and was strong, but boy was it difficult.
so the rest of the weekend was just great too - went to a "fob" indian concert sat. night.
I ended up having to get a new phone but since I was up for contract renewal, I got a better phone for free so everything worked out in the end...except for the transferring of numbers, what a bitch. (I feel your pain, Claudia).
Very hectic passed few days of work. 2 big clients I was working on launched yesterday and today. So far so good.
