Today was awesome. At my practicum site, the guy I go there with and I made a Thanksgiving dinner for the kids and explained to them what Thanksgiving was all about and it's origins and stuff. The kids loved the food; the only things left were peas and mashed potatoes (and we made 7 kilos of mashed potatoes). We also made the little hand-turkeys (you know, tracing your hand and using it to make a turkey), which was also awesome. It was a blast. I'm stuffed.
The only downside was that we used a goose instead of a turkey (although it tasted just as good) and we didn't have any pie. I want pie.
On a random side-note, how tone-deaf are you? Check out this website to see:
http://jakemandell.com/tonedeaf/ Yes, it is fairly accurate, compared to most internet tests. I want to see Ms. Pipe's perfomance the most, however. You know who you are.
Toodles!
